Job Summary

We're looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help fuel Enjoin's next phase of growth. In this role, you'll expand our presence within the healthcare industry by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with healthcare leaders, and generating qualified sales pipeline.

This is more than a traditional sales role. We're seeking someone who understands the healthcare landscape and can confidently engage professionals across Health Information Management (HIM), Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), Coding, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Your ability to build trust, ask thoughtful questions, and uncover client needs will directly contribute to Enjoin's continued success.

What You'll Do

  • Drive outbound business development through strategic prospecting, including phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other engagement strategies
  • Identify, research, and connect with key decision-makers across HIM, CDI, Medical Coding, Revenue Cycle, and hospital leadership teams
  • Qualify prospective clients and generate high-quality sales opportunities for the Business Development team
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings and product demonstrations
  • Build credibility by confidently discussing healthcare documentation, coding, reimbursement, compliance, and revenue cycle challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect activity, pipeline, and sales opportunities within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, target accounts, and improve outreach strategies
  • Meet or exceed established goals for outreach, qualified meetings, pipeline generation, and conversion metrics
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulatory updates, and market developments that impact clients

Qualifications

Required

  • Direct experience in Health Information Management (HIM), Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), medical coding, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or healthcare technology supporting these functions
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, inside sales, recruiting, account management, or another client-facing role
  • Experience or demonstrated success with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage healthcare professionals
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office

Preferred

  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM platforms
  • Experience selling healthcare technology, consulting, coding, CDI, or revenue cycle services
  • Knowledge of hospital operations, reimbursement methodologies, coding, or healthcare compliance
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales or business development goals

Compensation

  • $60,000–$70,000 annually
  • Monthly performance-based bonus opportunities

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Fully remote, with company-issued computer equipment provided
  • Monday - Friday during regular business hours
  • Must maintain a secure home workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Must maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and proactive communication
